Bone Crossed-review
Mar. 1st, 2009 11:10 amThis is probably not going to be the best written or thought out review. Nevertheless, it is my review and if I can convert someone to reading the series by Patricia Briggs, then all will be right with my world. Well, okay, maybe not all...but a goodly portion of it will.
For those of you who don't know Bone Crossed is the fourth in the Mercy Thompson series. Mercy is part-Native American and, I'm sorry, but I can't remember if the author named the tribe or nation her father belonged to (and I won't even get started on that!). She gets her shapeshifter abilities from her father. Mercy, you see, can turn into a coyote. That's not all, she was raised for the most part, by the Marrok, the leader of the all the werewolves in North America. She is also a VW mechanic and an independent and strong woman, who somehow always finds herself knee deep in trouble.
( follow me, my pretty.... )
